SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LTBP4 (latent transforming growth factor beta binding protein 4) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human LTBP4 qPCR Primer Set – latent transforming growth factor beta binding protein 4
Also known as: ARCL1C, LTBP-4, LTBP4L, LTBP4S
About this gene: The LTBP4 protein binds transforming growth factor beta as it is secreted and targeted to the extracellular matrix. TGFB is biologically latent after secretion and insertion into the extracellular matrix, and sheds TGFB and other proteins upon activation. Defects in LTBP4 may be a cause of cutis laxa and severe pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and urinary abnormalities.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8425; HGNC ID: HGNC:6717; UniProt: Q8N2S1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001042545.2; Chromosome location: 19q13.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
