SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LTA (lymphotoxin alpha, also called LT-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human LTA qPCR Primer Set – lymphotoxin alpha
Also known as: LT, TNFB, TNFSF1, TNLG1E
About this gene: The encoded protein, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine produced by lymphocytes. The protein is highly inducible, secreted, and forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchor lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. The LTA protein also mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral responses, is involved in the formation of secondary lymphoid organs during development and is involved in apoptosis.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4049; HGNC ID: HGNC:6709; UniProt: P01374; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000595.4; Chromosome location: 6p21.33
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
