SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LORICRIN (loricrin cornified envelope precursor protein) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human LORICRIN qPCR Primer Set – loricrin cornified envelope precursor protein
Also known as: LOR
About this gene: LORICRIN encodes loricrin, a major protein component of the cornified cell envelope found in terminally differentiated epidermal cells. Mutations in LORICRIN are linked to Vohwinkel's syndrome and progressive symmetric erythrokeratoderma, both inherited skin diseases.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 4014; HGNC ID: HGNC:6663; UniProt: P23490; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000427.3; Chromosome location: 1q21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
