SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LIPF (lipase F, gastric type, also called GL) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human LIPF qPCR Primer Set – lipase F, gastric type
Also known as: GL, HGL, HLAL
About this gene: LIPF encodes gastric lipase, an enzyme involved in the digestion of dietary triglycerides in the gastrointestinal tract, and responsible for 30% of fat digestion processes occurring in human. The LIPF gene product is secreted by gastric chief cells in the fundic mucosa of the stomach, and it hydrolyzes the ester bonds of triglycerides under acidic pH conditions. The gene belongs to a conserved gene family of lipases that play distinct roles in neutral lipid metabolism.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 8513; HGNC ID: HGNC:6622; UniProt: P07098; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004190.4; Chromosome location: 10q23.31
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
