SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LIN28A (lin-28 RNA binding posttranscriptional regulator A, also called Lin-28A) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human LIN28A qPCR Primer Set – lin-28 RNA binding posttranscriptional regulator A
Also known as: CSDD1, LIN-28, LIN28, ZCCHC1, lin-28A
About this gene: LIN28A encodes a LIN-28 family RNA-binding protein that acts as a posttranscriptional regulator of genes involved in developmental timing and self-renewal in embryonic stem cells. The LIN28A protein functions through direct interaction with target mRNAs and by disrupting the maturation of certain miRNAs involved in embryonic development. The LIN28A protein prevents the terminal processing of the LET7 family of microRNAs which are major regulators of cellular growth and differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79727; HGNC ID: HGNC:15986; UniProt: Q9H9Z2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024674.6; Chromosome location: 1p36.11
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
