About this gene: The LIG4 protein is a DNA ligase that joins single-strand breaks in a double-stranded polydeoxynucleotide in an ATP-dependent reaction. The LIG4 protein is essential for VJ recombination and DNA double-strand break repair through nonhomologous end joining. The LIG4 protein forms a complex with the X-ray repair cross complementing protein 4, and further interacts with the DNA-dependent protein kinase.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
