SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LIFR (LIF receptor subunit alpha, also called LIF-R) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human LIFR qPCR Primer Set – LIF receptor subunit alpha
Also known as: CD118, LIF-R, SJS2, STWS, SWS
About this gene: LIFR encodes a protein that belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family. The LIFR protein combines with a high-affinity converter subunit, gp130, to form a receptor complex that mediates the action of the leukemia inhibitory factor, a polyfunctional cytokine that is involved in cellular differentiation. Mutations in LIFR cause Schwartz-Jampel syndrome type 2, a disease belonging to the group of the bent-bone dysplasias.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3977; HGNC ID: HGNC:6597; UniProt: P42702; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001127671.2; Chromosome location: 5p13.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
