SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human LBP (lipopolysaccharide binding protein) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human LBP qPCR Primer Set – lipopolysaccharide binding protein
Also known as: BPIFD2
About this gene: The LBP protein is involved in the acute-phase immunologic response to gram-negative bacterial infections. Gram-negative bacteria contain a glycolipid, lipopolysaccharide, on their outer cell wall. Together with bactericidal permeability-increasing protein, the LBP protein binds LPS and interacts with the CD14 receptor, probably playing a role in regulating LPS-dependent monocyte responses.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3929; HGNC ID: HGNC:6517; UniProt: P18428; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004139.5; Chromosome location: 20q11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
