SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KRT84 (keratin 84, also called K84) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KRT84 qPCR Primer Set – keratin 84
Also known as: HB4, KRTHB4
About this gene: The KRT84 protein belongs to the keratin gene family. As a type II hair keratin, it is a basic protein which heterodimerizes with type I keratins to form hair and nails. The type II hair keratins are clustered in a region of chromosome 12q13 and are grouped into two distinct subfamilies based on structure similarity.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3890; HGNC ID: HGNC:6461; UniProt: Q9NSB2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_033045.4; Chromosome location: 12q13.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
