SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KRTAP4-5 (keratin associated protein 4-5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KRTAP4-5 qPCR Primer Set – keratin associated protein 4-5
Also known as: KAP4.5, KRTAP4.5
About this gene: The KRTAP4-5 protein belongs to the keratin-associated protein family. The KAP proteins form a matrix of keratin intermediate filaments which contribute to the structure of hair fibers. KAP family members appear to have unique, family-specific amino- and carboxyl-terminal regions and are subdivided into three multi-gene families according to amino acid composition: the high sulfur, the ultrahigh sulfur, and the high tyrosine/glycine KAPs.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 85289; HGNC ID: HGNC:18899; UniProt: Q9BYR2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_033188.4; Chromosome location: 17q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
