SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KRT16 (keratin 16, also called K16) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KRT16 qPCR Primer Set – keratin 16
Also known as: CK16, FNEPPK, K16, K1CP, KRT16A, NEPPK, PC1
About this gene: The KRT16 protein belongs to the keratin gene family. The keratins are intermediate filament proteins responsible for the structural integrity of epithelial cells and are subdivided into cytokeratins and hair keratins. Most of the type I cytokeratins consist of acidic proteins which are arranged in pairs of heterotypic keratin chains and are clustered in a region of chromosome 17q12-q21.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3868; HGNC ID: HGNC:6423; UniProt: P08779; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005557.4; Chromosome location: 17q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
