SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KPTN (kaptin, actin binding protein) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KPTN qPCR Primer Set – kaptin, actin binding protein
Also known as: 2E4, KICS4, MRT41
About this gene: KPTN encodes a filamentous-actin-associated protein, which is involved in actin dynamics and is important for neuromorphogenesis. Mutations in KPTN result in an autosomal recessive form of intellectual disability.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 11133; HGNC ID: HGNC:6404; UniProt: Q9Y664; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_007059.4; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
