SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KIT (KIT proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase, also called PBT) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KIT qPCR Primer Set – KIT proto-oncogene, receptor tyrosine kinase
Also known as: C-Kit, CD117, MASTC, PBT, SCFR
About this gene: KIT encodes a receptor tyrosine kinase. KIT was initially identified as a homolog of the feline sarcoma viral oncogene v-kit and is often referred to as proto-oncogene c-Kit. The canonical form of this glycosylated transmembrane protein has an N-terminal extracellular region with five immunoglobulin-like domains, a transmembrane region, and an intracellular tyrosine kinase domain at the C-terminus.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3815; HGNC ID: HGNC:6342; UniProt: P10721; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000222.3; Chromosome location: 4q12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
