SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human AQP7 (aquaporin 7, also called AQPap) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human AQP7 qPCR Primer Set – aquaporin 7
Also known as: AQP7L, AQPap, GLYCQTL
About this gene: AQP7 belongs to the aquaporin family of water-selective membrane channels. The AQP7 protein localizes to the plasma membrane and allows movement of water, glycerol and urea across cell membranes. AQP7 is highly expressed in the adipose tissue where the AQP7 protein facilitates efflux of glycerol.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 364; HGNC ID: HGNC:640; UniProt: O14520; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001170.3; Chromosome location: 9p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
