About this gene: AQP4 belongs to the aquaporin family of intrinsic membrane proteins that function as water-selective channels in the plasma membranes of many cells. The AQP4 protein is the predominant aquaporin found in brain and has an important role in brain water homeostasis. Additional isoforms, resulting from the use of alternative in-frame translation initiation codons, have also been described.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
