SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human POGLUT2 (protein O-glucosyltransferase 2, also called ERp58) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human POGLUT2 qPCR Primer Set – protein O-glucosyltransferase 2
Also known as: EP58, ERp58, KDEL1, KDELC1
About this gene: POGLUT2 encodes a protein product localized to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum. As a member of the endoplasmic reticulum protein family the POGLUT2 protein contains a Lys-Asp-Glu-Leu or KDEL motif located at the extreme C-terminus which prevents all endoplasmic reticulum resident proteins from being secreted. Proteins carrying this motif are bound by a receptor in the Golgi apparatus so that the receptor-ligand complex returns to the endoplasmic reticulum.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 79070; HGNC ID: HGNC:19350; UniProt: Q6UW63; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_024089.3; Chromosome location: 13q33.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
