SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNMB1 (potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily M regulatory beta subunit 1, also called Hbeta1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCNMB1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium calcium-activated channel subfamily M regulatory beta subunit 1
Also known as: BKbeta1, K(VCA)beta, SLO-BETA, hbeta1, hslo-beta, k(VCA)beta-1, slo-beta-1
About this gene: MaxiK channels are large conductance, voltage and calcium-sensitive potassium channels which are fundamental to the control of smooth muscle tone and neuronal excitability. MaxiK channels can be formed by 2 subunits: the pore-forming alpha subunit and the product of KCNMB1, the modulatory beta subunit. Intracellular calcium regulates the physical association between the alpha and beta subunits.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3779; HGNC ID: HGNC:6285; UniProt: Q16558; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004137.4; Chromosome location: 5q35.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
