SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNJ12 (potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 12) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KCNJ12 qPCR Primer Set – potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 12
Also known as: IRK-2, IRK2, KCNJN1, Kir2.2, hIRK, hIRK1, hkir2.2x, kcnj12x
About this gene: KCNJ12 encodes a inwardly rectifying K+ channel which may be blocked by divalent cations. The KCNJ12 protein is believed to be one of multiple inwardly rectifying channels which contribute to the cardiac inward rectifier current. The gene is located within the Smith-Magenis syndrome region on chromosome 17.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3768; HGNC ID: HGNC:6258; UniProt: Q14500; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_021012.5; Chromosome location: 17p11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
