SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNJ3 (potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 3) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCNJ3 qPCR Primer Set – potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 3
Also known as: GIRK1, KGA, KIR3.1
About this gene: Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The KCNJ3 protein is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein, which has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell, is controlled by G-proteins and is important for regulating heartbeat.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3760; HGNC ID: HGNC:6264; UniProt: P48549; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002239.4; Chromosome location: 2q24.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
