Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human APPL1 (adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 1, also called Dip13-alpha) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.

Human APPL1 qPCR Primer Set – adaptor protein, phosphotyrosine interacting with PH domain and leucine zipper 1

Also known as: APPL, DIP13alpha, MODY14

About this gene: The APPL1 protein is reported to be involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, and in the crosstalk between the adiponectin signalling and insulin signalling pathways. The APPL1 protein binds many other proteins, including RAB5A, DCC, AKT2, PIK3CA, adiponectin receptors, and proteins of the NuRD/MeCP1 complex. The APPL1 protein is found linked to endosomal membranes, but can be released by EGF and translocated to the nucleus.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 26060; HGNC ID: HGNC:24035; UniProt: Q9UKG1; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_012096.3; Chromosome location: 3p14.3

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
