SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNJ11 (potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 11, also called IKATP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCNJ11 qPCR Primer Set – potassium inwardly rectifying channel subfamily J member 11
Also known as: BIR, HHF2, IKATP, KIR6.2, MODY13, PHHI, PNDM2, TNDM3
About this gene: Potassium channels are present in most mammalian cells, where they participate in a wide range of physiologic responses. The KCNJ11 protein is an integral membrane protein and inward-rectifier type potassium channel. The encoded protein, which has a greater tendency to allow potassium to flow into a cell rather than out of a cell.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3767; HGNC ID: HGNC:6257; UniProt: Q14654; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000525.4; Chromosome location: 11p15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
