SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNH2 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 2, also called H-ERG) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KCNH2 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 2
Also known as: ERG-1, ERG1, H-ERG, HERG, HERG1, Kv11.1, LQT2, SQT1
About this gene: KCNH2 encodes a component of a voltage-activated potassium channel found in cardiac muscle, nerve cells, and microglia. Four copies of this protein interact with one copy of the KCNE2 protein to form a functional potassium channel. Mutations in KCNH2 can cause long QT syndrome type 2.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3757; HGNC ID: HGNC:6251; UniProt: Q12809; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000238.4; Chromosome location: 7q36.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
