SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNH1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 1, also called h-eag) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCNH1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily H member 1
Also known as: EAG, EAG1, K(V)10.1, Kv10.1, TMBTS, ZLS1, h-eag, hEAG, hEAG1
About this gene: Voltage-gated potassium channels represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume. KCNH1 belongs to the potassium channel, voltage-gated, subfamily H. This member is a pore-forming subunit of a voltage-gated non-inactivating delayed rectifier potassium channel.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3756; HGNC ID: HGNC:6250; UniProt: O95259; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_172362.3; Chromosome location: 1q32.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
