SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNE1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E regulatory subunit 1, also called MinK) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human KCNE1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily E regulatory subunit 1
Also known as: ISK, JLNS, JLNS2, LQT2/5, LQT5, MinK
About this gene: The product of KCNE1 belongs to the potassium channel KCNE family. Potassium ion channels are essential to many cellular functions and show a high degree of diversity, varying in their electrophysiologic and pharmacologic properties. KCNE1 encodes a transmembrane protein known to associate with the product of the KVLQT1 gene to form the delayed rectifier potassium channel.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3753; HGNC ID: HGNC:6240; UniProt: P15382; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000219.6; Chromosome location: 21q22.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
