SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCND1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily D member 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCND1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily D member 1
Also known as: KV4.1
About this gene: KCND1 encodes a multipass membrane protein that comprises the pore subunit of the voltage-gated A-type potassium channel, which functions in the repolarization of membrane action potentials. Activity of voltage-gated potassium channels is important in a number of physiological processes, among them the regulation of neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, and smooth muscle contraction.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3750; HGNC ID: HGNC:6237; UniProt: Q9NSA2; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004979.6; Chromosome location: Xp11.23
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
