SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KCNC1 (potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 1, also called NGK2) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human KCNC1 qPCR Primer Set – potassium voltage-gated channel subfamily C member 1
Also known as: EPM7, KV3.1, KV4, NGK2
About this gene: KCNC1 belongs to a family of integral membrane proteins that mediate the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. These isoforms have had conflicting names in the literature: the longer isoform has been called both "b" and "alpha", while the shorter isoform has been called both "a" and "beta".
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3746; HGNC ID: HGNC:6233; UniProt: P48547; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001112741.2; Chromosome location: 11p15.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
