SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human JPH2 (junctophilin 2) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human JPH2 qPCR Primer Set – junctophilin 2
Also known as: CMD2E, CMH17, JP-2, JP2
About this gene: Junctional complexes between the plasma membrane and endoplasmic/sarcoplasmic reticulum are a common feature of all excitable cell types and mediate cross talk between cell surface and intracellular ion channels. The JPH2 protein is a component of junctional complexes and is composed of a C-terminal hydrophobic segment spanning the endoplasmic/sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane and a remaining cytoplasmic domain that shows specific affinity for the plasma membrane. JPH2 belongs to the junctophilin gene family.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 57158; HGNC ID: HGNC:14202; UniProt: Q9BR39; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_020433.5; Chromosome location: 20q13.12
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
