SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human APOL3 (apolipoprotein L3, also called ApoL-III) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human APOL3 qPCR Primer Set – apolipoprotein L3
Also known as: APOLIII, CG121, CG12_1, apoL-III
About this gene: APOL3 belongs to the apolipoprotein L gene family, and it is present in a cluster with other family members on chromosome 22. The APOL3 protein is found in the cytoplasm, where it may affect the movement of lipids, including cholesterol, and/or allow the binding of lipids to organelles. In addition, expression of APOL3 is up-regulated by tumor necrosis factor-alpha in endothelial cells lining the normal and atherosclerotic iliac artery and aorta.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 80833; HGNC ID: HGNC:14868; UniProt: O95236; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_145639.2; Chromosome location: 22q12.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
