SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ITGA2 (integrin subunit alpha 2, also called GPIa) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ITGA2 qPCR Primer Set – integrin subunit alpha 2
Also known as: BR, CD49B, FMAIT3, GPIa, HPA-5, VLA-2, VLAA2
About this gene: ITGA2 encodes a alpha subunit of a transmembrane receptor for collagens and related proteins. The ITGA2 protein forms a heterodimer with a beta subunit and mediates the adhesion of platelets and other cell types to the extracellular matrix. Loss of the ITGA2 protein is linked to bleeding disorder platelet-type 9.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3673; HGNC ID: HGNC:6137; UniProt: P17301; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002203.4; Chromosome location: 5q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
