About this gene: ISL1 belongs to the LIM/homeodomain family of transcription factors. The ISL1 protein binds to the enhancer region of the insulin gene, among others, and may play an important role in regulating insulin gene expression. The ISL1 protein is central to the development of pancreatic cell lineages and may also be required for motor neuron generation.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
