SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human IRX5 (iroquois homeobox 5) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human IRX5 qPCR Primer Set – iroquois homeobox 5
Also known as: HMMS, IRX-2a, IRXB2
About this gene: IRX5 belongs to the iroquois homeobox gene family, which are involved in multiple embryonic developmental processes. Knockout mice lacking IRX5 show that it is required for retinal cone bipolar cell differentiation, and that it negatively regulates potassium channel gene expression in the heart to ensure coordinated cardiac repolarization.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10265; HGNC ID: HGNC:14361; UniProt: P78411; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005853.6; Chromosome location: 16q12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
