About this gene: APOC3 encodes a protein component of triglyceride-rich lipoproteins including very low density lipoproteins, high density lipoproteins and chylomicrons. The APOC3 protein is involved in role in the metabolism of these TRLs through multiple modes. The APOC3 protein is reported to promote the secretion of VLDL1, inhibit lipoprotein lipase enzyme activity, and delay catabolism of TRL remnants.

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
