SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human IRF1 (interferon regulatory factor 1) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human IRF1 qPCR Primer Set – interferon regulatory factor 1
Also known as: IMD117, IRF-1, MAR
About this gene: The IRF1 protein is a transcriptional regulator and tumor suppressor, serving as an activator of genes involved in both innate and acquired immune responses. The IRF1 protein activates the transcription of genes involved in the body's response to viruses and bacteria, playing a role in cell proliferation, apoptosis, the immune response, and DNA damage response. The IRF1 protein represses the transcription of multiple other genes.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3659; HGNC ID: HGNC:6116; UniProt: P10914; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002198.3; Chromosome location: 5q31.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
