SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human APOC2 (apolipoprotein C2, also called Apo-CII) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human APOC2 qPCR Primer Set – apolipoprotein C2
Also known as: APO-CII, APOC-II
About this gene: APOC2 encodes a lipid-binding protein belonging to the apolipoprotein gene family. The protein is secreted in plasma where it is a component of very low density lipoprotein. The APOC2 protein activates the enzyme lipoprotein lipase, which hydrolyzes triglycerides and thus provides free fatty acids for cells.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 344; HGNC ID: HGNC:609; UniProt: P02655; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000483.5; Chromosome location: 19q13.32
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
