SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human IL25 (interleukin 25, also called IL-17E) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human IL25 qPCR Primer Set – interleukin 25
Also known as: IL17E
About this gene: The IL25 protein is a cytokine that shares sequence similarity with interleukin 17. This cytokine can induce NF-kappaB activation, and stimulate the production of interleukin 8. Both this cytokine and interleukin 17B are ligands for the cytokine receptor IL17BR. Studies of a similar gene in mice suggest that this cytokine may be a pro-inflammatory cytokine favoring the Th2-type immune response.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 64806; HGNC ID: HGNC:13765; UniProt: Q9H293; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_172314.2; Chromosome location: 14q11.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
