SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human IL17A (interleukin 17A, also called IL-17A) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human IL17A qPCR Primer Set – interleukin 17A
Also known as: CTLA-8, CTLA8, IL-17, IL-17A, IL17, ILA17
About this gene: IL17A belongs to the IL-17 receptor family which includes five members and the IL17A protein is a proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells. IL-17A-mediated downstream pathways induce the production of inflammatory molecules, chemokines, antimicrobial peptides, and remodeling proteins. The IL17A protein elicits crucial impacts on host defense, cell trafficking, immune modulation, and tissue repair, with a key role in the induction of innate immune defenses.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3605; HGNC ID: HGNC:5981; UniProt: Q16552; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002190.3; Chromosome location: 6p12.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
