Human TOR1AIP2 qPCR Primer Set – torsin 1A interacting protein 2
Also known as: IFRG15, LULL1, NET9
About this gene: One of the two protein isoforms encoded by TOR1AIP2 is a type II integral membrane protein found in the endoplasmic reticulum. The TOR1AIP2 protein is a cofactor for the ATPase TorsinA, regulating the amount of TorsinA present in the ER compared to that found in the nuclear envelope. Defects in this protein are a cause of early onset primary dystonia, a neuromuscular disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 163590; HGNC ID: HGNC:24055; UniProt: Q8NFQ8; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001199260.2; Chromosome location: 1q25.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
