SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human IFNB1 (interferon beta 1, also called IFN-beta) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human IFNB1 qPCR Primer Set – interferon beta 1
Also known as: IFB, IFF, IFN-beta, IFNB
About this gene: IFNB1 encodes a cytokine that belongs to the interferon family of signaling proteins, which are released as part of the innate immune response to pathogens. The IFNB1 protein belongs to the type I class of interferons, which are important for defense against viral infections. In addition, type I interferons are involved in cell differentiation and anti-tumor defenses.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3456; HGNC ID: HGNC:5434; UniProt: P01574; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002176.4; Chromosome location: 9p21.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
