SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human APH1A (aph-1A gamma-secretase subunit, also called APH-1a) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human APH1A qPCR Primer Set – aph-1A gamma-secretase subunit
Also known as: 6530402N02Rik, APH-1, APH-1A, CGI-78
About this gene: APH1A encodes a component of the gamma secretase complex that cleaves integral membrane proteins such as Notch receptors and beta-amyloid precursor protein. The gamma secretase complex contains APH1A product, or the paralogous anterior pharynx defective 1 homolog B, along with the presenilin, nicastrin, and presenilin enhancer-2 proteins. Polymorphisms in a promoter region of APH1A have been linked to an increased risk for developing sporadic Alzheimer's disease.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51107; HGNC ID: HGNC:29509; UniProt: Q96BI3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_001077628.3; Chromosome location: 1q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
