Human IDH3B qPCR Primer Set – isocitrate dehydrogenase (NAD(+)) 3 non-catalytic subunit beta
Also known as: RP46
About this gene: Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes belong to two distinct subclasses, one of which utilizes NAD as the electron acceptor and the other NADP. Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been reported: three NAD-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases, which localize to the mitochondrial matrix. NAD-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the allosterically regulated rate-limiting step of the tricarboxylic acid cycle.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3420; HGNC ID: HGNC:5385; UniProt: O43837; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_006899.5; Chromosome location: 20p13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
