SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human ID1 (inhibitor of DNA binding 1, also called bHLHb24) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human ID1 qPCR Primer Set – inhibitor of DNA binding 1
Also known as: ID, bHLHb24
About this gene: The ID1 protein is a helix-loop-helix protein that can form heterodimers with members of the basic HLH family of transcription factors. The ID1 protein has no DNA binding activity and therefore can inhibit the DNA binding and transcriptional activation ability of basic HLH proteins with which it interacts. The ID1 protein may play a role in cell growth, senescence, and differentiation.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3397; HGNC ID: HGNC:5360; UniProt: P41134; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002165.4; Chromosome location: 20q11.21
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
