SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HTR6 (5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 6) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HTR6 qPCR Primer Set – 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 6
Also known as: 5-HT6, 5-HT6R
About this gene: HTR6 encodes a protein that belongs to the seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor family of proteins. The HTR6 protein couples with the Gs alpha subunit and stimulates adenylate cyclase to activate the cyclic AMP-dependent signaling pathway. This receptor is believed to regulate cholinergic neuronal transmission in the brain.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3362; HGNC ID: HGNC:5301; UniProt: P50406; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_000871.3; Chromosome location: 1p36.13
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
