Product Description

SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human KAT5 (lysine acetyltransferase 5, also called Tip60) gene expression by real-time PCR.

Human KAT5 qPCR Primer Set – lysine acetyltransferase 5

Also known as: ESA1, HTATIP, HTATIP1, NEDFASB, PLIP, TIP, TIP60, ZC2HC5, cPLA2

About this gene: The KAT5 protein belongs to the MYST family of histone acetyl transferases and was originally isolated as an HIV-1 TAT-interactive protein. HATs play important roles in regulating chromatin remodeling, transcription and other nuclear processes by acetylating histone and nonhistone proteins. The KAT5 protein is a histone acetylase that has a role in DNA repair and apoptosis and is believed to play an important role in signal transduction.

Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 10524; HGNC ID: HGNC:5275; UniProt: Q92993; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_182710.3; Chromosome location: 11q13.1

What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
