SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human CHMP5 (charged multivesicular body protein 5, also called Vps60) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human CHMP5 qPCR Primer Set – charged multivesicular body protein 5
Also known as: C9orf83, CGI-34, HSPC177, PNAS-2, SNF7DC2, Spike, Vps60
About this gene: CHMP5 belongs to the chromatin-modifying protein/charged multivesicular body protein family. These proteins are components of ESCRT-III, a complex involved in degradation of surface receptor proteins and formation of endocytic multivesicular bodies. Some CHMPs have both nuclear and cytoplasmic/vesicular distributions, and one such CHMP, CHMP1A, is required for both MVB formation and regulation of cell cycle progression.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51510; HGNC ID: HGNC:26942; UniProt: Q9NZZ3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_016410.6; Chromosome location: 9p13.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
