SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HSPA5 (heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 5, also called BiP) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HSPA5 qPCR Primer Set – heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 5
Also known as: BIP, GRP78, HEL-S-89n
About this gene: The HSPA5 protein belongs to the heat shock protein 70 family. The HSPA5 protein localizes to the lumen of the endoplasmic reticulum where it operates as a typical HSP70 chaperone involved in the folding and assembly of proteins in the ER and is a master regulator of ER homeostasis. During cellular stress, as during viral infection or tumorogenesis, this protein interacts with the transmembrane stress sensor proteins PERK, IRE1.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3309; HGNC ID: HGNC:5238; UniProt: P11021; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_005347.5; Chromosome location: 9q33.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
