SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HSD17B2 (hydroxysteroid 17-beta dehydrogenase 2, also called E2DH) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human HSD17B2 qPCR Primer Set – hydroxysteroid 17-beta dehydrogenase 2
Also known as: EDH17B2, HSD17, SDR9C2
About this gene: HSD17B2 enables estradiol 17-beta-dehydrogenase [NAD+] activity and testosterone dehydrogenase activity. It is involved in androgen metabolic process; estrogen biosynthetic process; and response to retinoic acid.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 3294; HGNC ID: HGNC:5211; UniProt: P37059; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_002153.3; Chromosome location: 16q23.3
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
