Human KCNQ1DN qPCR Primer Set – KCNQ1 downstream neighbor
Also known as: BWRT, HSA404617
About this gene: Imprinting is a phenomenon in which epigenetic modifications lead to expression or suppression of alleles of some genes based on their parental origin. Wilms tumor-2 is defined by maternal-specific loss of heterozygosity of a critical region on chromosome 11p15.5 that includes multiple imprinted genes. KCNQ1DN is an imprinted gene located within the WT2 critical region that is expressed from the maternal allele.[supplied by OMIM, Mar 2008].
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 55539; HGNC ID: HGNC:13335; Chromosome location: 11p15.4|11p15.5
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
