SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human PRPF3 (pre-mRNA processing factor 3, also called hPrp3) gene expression by real-time PCR.
Human PRPF3 qPCR Primer Set – pre-mRNA processing factor 3
Also known as: HPRP3, HPRP3P, PRP3, Prp3p, RP18, SNRNP90
About this gene: The removal of introns from nuclear pre-mRNAs occurs on complexes called spliceosomes, which are made up of 4 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein particles and an undefined number of transiently associated splicing factors. PRPF3 product is one of multiple proteins that associate with U4 and U6 snRNPs. Mutations in PRPF3 are linked to retinitis pigmentosa-18.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 9129; HGNC ID: HGNC:17348; UniProt: O43395; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_004698.4; Chromosome location: 1q21.2
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
