SYBR Green qPCR primers for detecting human HPDL (4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase like) gene expression by real-time PCR. Each set comes with primer sequences and reaction conditions.
Human HPDL qPCR Primer Set – 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase like
Also known as: 4-HPPD-L, GLOXD1, NEDSWMA, SPG83
About this gene: The protein encoded by this intronless gene localizes to mitochondria, where it may function as 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase. Clinical studies have identified multiple bi-allelic variants in HPDL that lower the level of the HPDL protein and lead to a clinically variable form of pediatric-onset spastic movement disorder.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 84842; HGNC ID: HGNC:28242; UniProt: Q96IR7; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_032756.4; Chromosome location: 1p34.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
