Human HOOK1 qPCR Primer Set – hook microtubule tethering protein 1
Also known as: HK1
About this gene: HOOK1 belongs to the hook family of coiled-coil proteins, which bind to microtubules and organelles through their N- and C-terminal domains, respectively. The HOOK1 protein localizes to discrete punctuate subcellular structures, and interacts with multiple members of the Rab GTPase family involved in endocytosis. The HOOK1 gene product is believed to link endocytic membrane trafficking to the microtubule cytoskeleton.
Gene details: NCBI Gene ID: 51361; HGNC ID: HGNC:19884; UniProt: Q9UJC3; RefSeq (MANE Select): NM_015888.6; Chromosome location: 1p32.1
What you get: Primers are provided as a 40 µl solution containing both primers at a final concentration of 50 µM in 10 mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.5), 0.1 mM EDTA. Dilute with H2O as needed prior to use. This amount is sufficient for 1,000 PCR reactions of 20 µl, assuming a final primer concentration of 0.1 µM.
